As we are rapidly approaching winter, the weather will play a factor in all our outdoor projects. It is important to maintain your own personal safety along with others working side by side with you. Inclement weather along with freezing temperatures makes working outside more difficult. Take the time to be aware of all hazards and adjust accordingly, safety is always first.
We have had an uptick in our Masonry trades, just like the saying “when it rains it pours”. Bricklayers are busy building Courthouses, Jails and Casinos. Soon our finished trades will follow. I have been out visiting non-union job sites to try and spread the word and capture new members. It is important to us to supply labor to our signatories.
By now the holiday season is in full swing and I hope everyone is enjoying it. We all must take time to relax and enjoy family, friends and spread a little holiday cheer. Please plan to attend our chapter meetings, our BAC Pact program will resume in 2024. As we ring in the New year, I wish everyone a healthy and prosperous 2024.
